1942-03-12 Girls Trio - "Lass"/C. Miller, baritone - "Lonesome Road"/ E. Shantz, Chopin - "Watts in C#minor" 1942-03-13 The Kernal (School newspaper) states in "Martin makes music recordings" that recordings of voice students were taken for practice work by Phil N. Martin, music instructor; 1942 Sierran (school yearbook) on the Mixed Chorus page (not numbered) states: "Out of this group a trio of three girls became favorites of the East Bakersfield audiences. They were Inez Cordoza, Ardis Chester and Elinor Pyles." Students Edwin Shantz and Clarence Miller are also included as part of the Mixed Chorus.
