Description
This Admiral television Model 19A11 was first manufactured in 1948 and incorporates a 7-inch picture tube. In addition, the unit was mounted within a bakelite (plastic) case of relatively high strength. It used electrostatic (electric field) definition instead of the more common magnetic deflection. It is an example of the improvements that a larger screen could make.
