Description
Two women stand in a wood. The woman on the left has her hair pulled back under a white lace cap with pink ribbons hanging from either side. She wears a black velvet jacket with ornate embroidery around the cuffs, collar, and down the center around the buttons. One of her gloved hands reaches into her pocket. The skirt of her pale pink dress has a wide band of double ruffles down the front. The woman on the right wears a ruched white lace bonnet with pink and yellow flowers on the right side. The front of her white blouse is visible under her pale blue dress. Red dots pattern the scalloped edges of the bodice and the five ruffled tiers of the skirt. She holds a pink flower up to her nose with one gloved hand and rests the other on her companion's arm. Several trees with almost bare branches, as well as other various shrubbery, create the background scene.
