Photograph of a Chinese Merchant Float in the La Fiesta Parade in Los Angeles, 1897. A middle-aged Chinese man dressed in traditional clothing sits at the helm of a large horse-drawn cart, which is filled with young, similarly dressed Chinese boys in the back. The cart is decorated with flowers on its wheels, and what appears to be either intricate rugs or hammered metal everywhere else. Houses can be seen in the background.
