Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated March 11, 1965 reads, "Won't walk - This demonstrator refused to walk to bus after his arrest for a sit-in on the steps of the Federal Building. As he was carried to the bus, federal officers dropped him on the building steps. He lay there patiently until they picked him up again."
