Title taken from volume in which this map appeared, The states of Central America, by E.G. Squier, 1858 (RB F1428 S72). "Southward" is spelled correctly on the map bound in the volume. Part of the series studying the feasibility of a canal through Honduras. Three copies of the same sections in one folder. Prime meridian: GM. Relief: pictorial. Graphic Scale: Miles. Printing Process: Lithography.
