Looking south along Roosevelt Highway, later renamed the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), in Pacific Palisades. The highway runs parallel with the ocean where visitors enjoy the sun and surf. A small pier is seen in the foreground and the Lighthouse bathhouse in Santa Monica Bay is visible in the distance. The various buildings of Santa Monica are faintly present in the background.
