Sand dunes outside of Eureka harbor on the long spit west of Samoa. Looking north at the pothole group of trees shown in no. 137. Shows in the foreground the steep side of dune to the ocean with clump of Pinus contorta on top. These are 8 to 12 inches high and have many cones on them. Samoa, Humboldt County. 5/27/15
