Strip map of the automobile routes from Los Angeles to Sierra Madre. Includes Mount Washington (top), San Gabriel Mission (bottom), Los Angeles (7th Street) (left), Sierra Madre (Scenic Point Road) (right). Due north is about 40 degrees right of vertical. Principal features: municipalities, roads, railroads, road names, mileages, geographic features. Prominent locations: Los Angeles (Beaudry Avenue, Seventh Street, Broadway, Main Street, 2nd Street, 3rd Street, North Broadway, North Main, Pasadena Avenue), Echo Park, Elysian Park, San Fernando Road, Los Angeles River, Arroyo Seco, Highland Park, Lincoln Park (Mission Road), El Monte Road, El Sereno (Huntington Drive), Alhambra, South Pasadena (Oak Knoll, Oneonta Park, Mission Street, Busch Gardens, Church of the Angels, Orange Grove Avenue), Pasadena (Colorado Street, Santa Anita Avenue), Lamanda Park, San Marino Station, San Gabriel Boulevard, Sierra Madre (Foothill Boulevard, Sierra Madre Avenue, Central Avenue, Baldwin Avenue, West Carter, North Sunnyside). Printed at the bottom is "Brown" and "200". Printed at the left, outside the map itself, is the number "23" and "Help prevent fire -- it pays". On the verso is a notice to look for the official hotels and garages with a list of 32 branch offices of the Automobile Club.
