Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated April 3, 1961 reads, "Robert Budin views remains of his home, 10801 Sharp Ave." The article partially reads, "When a 38-year-old Mission Hills man and his wife and two children returned home from a shopping trip at 3 p.m. Saturday they found firemen and neighbors surrounding their home. Shortly after 2 p.m. a plastic gas line had exploded beneath the living room, ripping a hole in the floor, shoving the house at 10801 Sharp Ave. off its foundation and setting a fire in the attic."
