Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the entrance to the Hollywood Police Station, ca.1910-1915. The entrance is on the west side of Cahuenga Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and Selma Avenue on what is now the 1600 block on Cahuengaca. Two posts (part of a pergola?) support a roof structure where vines with flowers and leaves grow abundantly. The address number "131" is visible on the right post. A sign, which reads "Police Station", is displayed above the double-door entrance, while a chair can be seen under the porch at left.
