Photograph caption dated April 12, 1960 reads, "Mayor Norris Poulson (second from left) and Supervisor Kenneth Hahn (center), two who led the fight to bring the Dodgers to Los Angeles, were among civic dignitaries at dinner honoring the world champion baseball team on the eve of the 1960 season. Three honored players are: Larry Sherry (left), who received the 'Rookie of the Year' award; Gil Hodges, 'Player Who Most Typifies Dodger Tradition'; and Norm Larker (right), 'Sophomore of the Year.'"
