Description
At the intersection of South First Street and San Salvador Street, looking down First Street (San Jose, California). On the left is a building with the second story made of brick and the first is Three Star Tavern (399 South First Street). Further down the block is Goldeen's Home Furnishings (369 South First Street). On the right side of the street is Ida's Tuxedo Rentals (380 South First Street). Thick smoke is rising from an unseen point in the background. Information taken from the 1966 San Jose City Directory. Part of the Park Center Redevelopment Project.
