An automobile is visible coming down Via Campesina at far left, with flowerbeds alongside the road and in foreground. Building permit records "L.A. Platt" as designer; photographs attribute Hammond Sadler as landscape architect. House, also known as the "Big" Hart house, was later sold (by 1929) to Alden L. and Anne I. Hart, who engaged the Olmsted brothers as landscape architects for the property. A second "Little" Hart residence was located at 2616 Via Campesina.
