Description
Photograph caption dated November 2, 1962 reads "Henry Bennett aims at son, Alan." The article partially reads "A year ago Alan Bennett was lying in a hospital bed with a compound fracture of the leg, a shattered nose, internal injuries and a broke spirit as his athletic future at Taft High School was virtually finished." Alan rebounded from a car accident and became a member of the Taft High varsity basketball team. The school is in Woodland Hills.
