Description
"Ältester Helfer von Kidundo, Johannes Kipamila mit seiner dritten Frau und zwei Söhnen" ("The oldest assistant of Kidundo, Johannes Kipamila with his third wife and two sons"). Johannes Kipamila, wearing a kanzu, is sitting on a chair. Behind him from left to right: His wife and the sons. His wife is dressed in a cloth, the first son is wearing a shirt and a topee, the son on the right is wearing a coat, a kanzu and a pair of trousers as well as a hat. They were photographed in front of the entrance of a house.
Johannes Kipamila, 1890-1965. Baptised in 1903 with his wife Kitambi. He worked as an evangelist until his retirement in 1936.
