Tensely interested in doings at his trial even during court recess, Earle Kynette is shown peeking through the little window in the door from the prisoners' room into the courtroom where he and two other members of the police "spy" squad are on trial for their lives, accused of bombing Harry Raymond. At left in the doorway on April 13, 1938, is Roy J. Allen, one of the defendants. Kynette has on his glasses, which he wears for the first time at the trial.
