A derrick stands over the mine shaft in a postcard view of mining operations in Auburn, California. The postcard has "Oro Fino Com's Mines, Auburn, Calif. 125" written on the front and a 1 cent postage stamp of the Statue of Liberty and the words "Industry, Agriculture for defense" on the reverse.
