Description
Photograph of an exterior view of an unidentified oil refinery, showing a cluster of towers, ca.1940. Thick pipes run parallel between two opposing concrete platforms where many tall towers stand. The towers are cylindrical with ladders connecting the small platforms along their sides. Small lamps stand at the top of each tower while thick pipes bend in a knot at their bases. A massive building stands on the left with a tall staircase climbing the side wall to the fenced roof at top while a cylindrical tank labeled "161" stands in the background on the right.
