Photograph of people on a sandy public beach, [s.d.]. The wide beach runs from the foreground to the background at center. The ocean can be seen in the background at left, while tall mountains border the beach at right. Several groups of people, many under umbrellas, can be seen scattered along the beach. A slide and a wooden building can be seen in the background at right, while several early-model cars are visible along the beach at right. A sign at center reads: "Public Beach Keep it Clean No fires except in fire rings and garbage receptacles Keep all umbrellas and two sides of tent open County of Los Angeles".
