Photograph article dated September 5, 1956 partially reads, "A planning Board-Chamber of Commerce proposal to rezone a long strip of Burbank boulevard from Commercial to a new commercial - manufacturing (C-M) zone has been turned down by Burbank councilmen. The officials acted last night after listening to more than 30 speakers from a packed audience of nearly 300, one of the largest crowds to protest any contemplated legislation in recent Burbank history." Pictured is Mrs. Vera Woodbridge, who was against C-M Zoning.; See images #00145951 through #00145953 for all photos in this series.
