"Lukhia Pokbri girls' school, Feb. 1927". Group portrait of young children sitting for the camera, on the slope of a hill. All of them wear long dresses and long shawls wrapped over their heads. Possibly near Lucknow. This image belongs to an album of photographs collected by Dr. Stevenson and includes images from India, China and Africa. The image is one of several from an envelope, in the album, marked as 'Mrs Milligan's and Miss Compton's photos'
