Description
Photograph caption dated August 7, 1958 reads "Mr. and Mrs. John E. Stone look at picture of their home which was destroyed in plane crash. Their new home is only half-mile away from old one. Only items saved from crash were bathing suit Mrs. Stone wore and her wedding ring." The pilot and observer on the plane, a Lockheed T-33 Air National Guard trainer, did not survive the crash in Sepulveda. See image 00155134 for additional photo in this series.
