Description: Handwritten on back of photo - "Fred Scheffauer house large one on left below hedge trees. Sm. cottage in middle original private schoolhouse on estate. Next lg. house in right (#4 Blithedale Terrace) built by F. Schefauer around 1923 - then estate was divided and lg. original house sold. Blithedale Terrace devoloped by F.C.S. in 1929 across hills in back of old estate. Entrance was and is on original estate driveway. Road shown on bottom - Eldridge Ave."
