Description
Photograph of "A Gold Star Mothers' meeting - it was on Mothers Day - It was both an honor and a matter of pride to address the gathering - Nothing was too good for them - Here were the mothers who smiled through their tears - Doubly brave, I would say, as alien mothers they gave their sons to the country of their adoption...Doubly brave because of their unselfishness...(the young ladies are the daughters of these families whose boys are in the Armed Forces - many of them killed in action) - Fr. Clement Boesflug, MM"
