Group of PEMS missionaries in Do-Neva : M. and Mrs Charlemagne, Miss Pittet Raymond Charlemagne was a pastor, sent by the PEMS (Paris evangelical missionary society) to New-Caledonia from 1947 to 1957. Miss Pittet, a missionary too, sent as teacher to Lifou (New-Caledonia) then to Gabon. Comment : Do-Neva was a Protestant mission station, established in 1902 by the PEMS missionary Maurice Leenhardt, in the district of Houaïlou.
