Description
Connie and David begin the interview discussing the context of the novel, and how police officers operate when trying to interrogate a suspect. They proceed to talk about children residing in abusive homes, and how judges often make mistakes in keeping children there, before moving on to talk about how the main characters in the novel absconded with eight abused children to Costa Rica. Connie and David then discuss how David starts the plots of his novels, his education background, and his career in law enforcement throughout Southern California before talking about David’s next book project and the current books he’s reading. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
