Description: San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station is located near San Clemente, Calif. and is owned 80% by Southern California Edison and 20% by San Diego Gas and Electric. It has been in commercial operation since January 1968, and has a generating capacity of 450,000 kilowatts. Here you are seeing the station as well as the surround grounds and the ocean in the background.
