B. Inoue of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., writes Mr. C. W. Protzman, Sr. saying that he attended the reception for the anniversary of the founding of O.C.C. He explains that he could not take care of Mr. and Mrs. Hopper because of illness. Inoue shares that, recently, there has been an increase in the number of foreigners from the United States studying Japanese management. He writes that he learned American management at the CCS (Civil Communications Section) seminar, which resulted in the current Japanese management style that harmonizes with peculiar Japanese management culture. Inoue describes the difference between the two types of management, and goes on to discuss his health. The letter contains Inoue's original signature.
