Photograph caption dated January 4, 1965 reads "Saturday night's Western Hockey League contest between the Los Angeles Blades and the San Francisco Seals was wild. Pictured above are Blade Brian Smith and Seal Gary Dornhoefer down in the foreground engaging in a fight which cost each five minutes in the penalty box. Others get into the act. Shown in picture, right, are Blade Leo LaBine and Seal Dallas Smith in a 'friendly' fracas. The Blades won, 3-2." The game was held at the Sports Arena.
