Description
This circa 1960 postcard shows Lewis and Young's Music Circus, located at the northwest corner of Fourteenth and H streets. Its final season under a traditional circus tent came in summer 2002, just before it was replaced by the Wells Fargo Pavilion. The theater was opened in 1951 under the founding of Russell Lewis and Howard Young.
