Description
Panoramic view of Littlerock in the Antelope Valley covered by a carpet of goldfield flowers. This view is looking northeast from Main highway, showing Big Pines Mountain in the background. Littlerock, also known as "The Fruit Basket of the Antelope Valley" due to the orchards of various fruit trees such as almonds, apples, peaches and pears seen along the side of the roads, is a census-designated place in Los Angeles County. It has a population of 12,591 and is located 11 miles southeast of Palmdale's Civic Center. April 21, 1937.
