Description
Annotation translation: "The main hindrance to the growth of a christian congregation in Mbembe Land is the custom there that each girl must have had 1-2 illegitimate children before she marries. Only then will the relations agree to the marriage. Mbembe people are also hard drinkers."
Annotation: "Das Haupthindernis für die Entstehung einer Gemeinde im Mbembe-Land ist die dort übliche Sitte, dass jedes Mädchen vor der Verheiratung mit ihrem Bräutigam 1-2 uneheliche Kinder haben muss, bevor die Verwandtschaft in die Verheiratung einwilligt. Dazu kommt die Trunksucht der Mbembe."
