Photograph caption dated May 23, 1963 reads, "Forest Lawn attracts more than 1.5 million California tourists each year. Tourists find varied points of interest at park, including the Wee Kirk O' the Heather Church, left photo, one of three churches in park; the marble replica of Michelangelo's David, center photo, part of Forest Lawn's renowned collection of statuary, and the signing of the Declaration of Independence, included in the Court of Freedom patriotic collection, which also features a statue of George Washington, and the statue, "The Republic" symbolizing the high purpose and strength of America."; See images #00118186 through #00118190 for all photos in this series.
