In San Francisco boys visited Nob Hill, Chinatown, Cliff House and Golden Gate Park and viewed Alcatraz, Treasure Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. Trip commenced with plane ride via Western Airlines which the boys' enjoyed a great deal. The Valley Times sponsors many such trips for members of its newspaperboy organization each year. These are appreciated by the young salesmen as well as their parents."
