Photograph caption dated January 29, 1958 reads, "Winners of recent Valley Times circulation subscription drive, Dwight Guyer, 8020 Pechtree Ave., Panorama City, left, and Quenton Roosman, 14210 Cohasset St., Van Nuys, are pictured above at San Francisco's famous Fisherman's Wharf. In San Francisco boys visited Nob Hill, Chinatown, Cliff House and Golden Gate Park and viewed Alcatraz, Treasure Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. Trip commenced with plane ride via Western Airlines which the boys' enjoyed a great deal. The Valley Times sponsors many such trips for members of its newspaperboy organization each year. These are appreciated by the young salesmen as well as their parents."
