Photograph caption dated October 1, 1962 reads "She hears his voice, says hello and breaks into smiles as he tells her 'I'm all right' after air crash." The article partially reads "Pvt. Frank Bazell is one of 48 survivors of the Flying Tiger Super Constellation which ditched in the Atlantic Sept. 23 about 500 miles off the Irish coast when the plane lost the use of three of its four engines."
