Description
Program/menu from the Telegraph Operators Dinner in Honor of Thomas A. Edison, held 19 October 1915 at the Commercial Club in San Francisco. The menu is in Morse code and the text of Edison's address appears to have been transcribed on to the inside and back covers. Also in the folder is a news clipping of the event, "Telegraphers Honor Edison, Once Comrade," describing the event where all of the "speakers" paid their tribute using Morse code over telegraph wire.
