Close-up view of the cornerstone of Bethel Temple, also known as Iglesia Evangelica Latina Bethel Temple. The cornerstone is framed in brown and reads "Bethel Temple 1916-1931". This 4-story corner building is painted beige with white trim. A partial view of one set of stairs that leads to the main entrance can be seen on the left.; Rev. Moises A. Sandoval founded Iglesia Evangelica Latina in May 1979, with 22 members in his congregation; by 1984 the congregation had grown to 400 members. With their previous location proving to be too small for the growing church, Rev. Sandoval purchased Bethel Temple in December 1995. Bethel Temple is located quite literally on the corner of 1250 Bellevue Ave. and Kensington Rd. Photo dated: March 2005.
