Photograph caption dated October 18, 1954 reads "Prevuing (sic) puppet stars of Punch and Judy show to be presented during a carnival at Montague Street School, Oct. 29, are Maria Torres, student body vice president, second from right, and Steven Haley, student body president, right. In charge of the Halloween festival is Mrs. Carl Weinberger, right (sic). Seated, center, is Principal Mrs. Edna C. Rentro (sic)." The school is in Arleta, originally a part of Pacoima.
