PhotographÂ was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated October 20, 1962 reads "Torah dedication, representing education and knowledge, the fundamental concepts in the Jewish faith, is observed by the spiritual leader and members of Congregation Beth Kodesh, Canoga park. The Torah, which contains the Five Books of Moses written in the original Hebrew language, will be paraded through the streets Oct. 28. Under the canopy are Cantors Morris Firestone and Shlomo Saltes and Rabbi Eli Schochet. Holding the four corners of the canopy are Ed Rifkin, Hy Groch, Mark Goodwin and Irving Lehrbaum."
