The article partially reads, "...when one of the many tides in the development in Southern California had reached an ebb, a major portion -- 46,000 acres -- of Rancho San Francisco, an area that now includes the communities of Newhall, Saugus and Castaic, was put up for sale for $90,000. Newhall bought it."
