Photograph caption dated July 10, 1989 reads, "A firefighter checks over the burned remnants of a single-engine Cessna 210 that sit among the trees of the Hillcrest Country Club yesterday. Two men on board the plane were slightly injured and taken to a hospital after their craft went down near Pico Boulevard and Century Park East about 11:30 a.m. They were bound for Santa Monica Airport before the crash, now under investigation." The private club is located at 10000 W. Pico Boulevard in the Cheviot Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.
