Hayes and Mr. & Mrs. Bunch can be seen walking along the road; the house and barn are barely visible in the distance on the right.; Santa Clarita, located approximately 35 miles northwest of downtown L.A. and occupying most of the Santa Clarita Valley, is the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County. Although fairly recently incorporated (1987), Santa Clarita is long in history, dating as far back as the mid-1800s. As of 2007, it is estimated that the city's population stands at 177,158.
