The women are presumably identified in a June 23, 1946, letter to Angeleno Photo Services accompanying the negative that lists the trumpeters wanting copies as being: Janice Millican, Betty Hooper, Sadie Duncan, Grace Gatlin, Evelyn Canfield, Muriel Briney, Doreen Greer, and Iris Kennelley. Date supplied by cataloger based on year of letter.
