This photograph shows the sign in context of the the gardens of the Velaslavasay Panorama which directed visitors to the "Avian Alcove," an outdoor "living diorama" exhibition in the gardens of the original Hollywood location at 5553 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90028 and was a collaboration between sisters Sara Velas and Karen Velas. Visitors to the Velaslavasay Panorama could have a souvenir polaroid portrait taken in the "Avian Alcove" put in a printed souvenir photo holder.
