Photograph shows a group of girls posing on a low-growing cypress tree trunk. They are at the summer 1955 Asilomar Conference. Asilomar is in Pacific Grove, California. On recto: "YWCA Conference, Asilomar Summer 1955." Asilomar was built to be a permanent conference site for the national YWCA association. It was designed by Julia Morgan who was hired by Phoebe Apperson Hearst.
