Description
Photograph of a chandelier visible from the second story in the lobby of Los Angeles City Hall, [s.d.]. The illuminated light fixture is visible hanging from the ceiling at center. It features at least three silhouettes of men carrying shields and weapons, and a man standing in front of the American flag. Silhouettes of lions and other designs are visible as well. The Byzantine-style lobby is two stories high and has stone walls. Archways supported by marble columns can be seen on the first floor below. A balcony overlooks the first floor behind the chandelier, while a hallway continues into the background. Tile mosaics can be seen above this hallway, as well as to the right.
