Description
Photograph of the old church at the Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico, ca.1900. The old church is constructed from adobe brick. Two bell towers flank the main entry over which a small cross stands on the roof. Another cross stands on small adobe pedestal in front of the church. The rafter tails on the lower part of the church at right are exposed. Stucco covers only the lower half of the structure, the upper half consisting of exposed brick. Five people stand near the church entry. Some shrubs grow sparsely in front of the church.
