This photo of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church was taken from the corner of Hooper Ave. and Vernon Ave. It shows stairs leading to the main entrance, a large bell tower, and two visible arches on the right portion of the church; an adjacent parking lot can also be seen. Verso on photograph says that in 1920 this church was known as the Vernon Avenue Congregational Church, in 1930 the name was changed to Western Knolls Congregational Church, and in 1940 the name was once again changed and it became Lincoln Memorial Congregational Church. It does not, however, list when it acquired its current name. Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church is located at 4415 Hooper Avenue and the corner of Vernon Avenue. Photo dated: April 2004.
