Description
Photograph of Wilson & Company's workers packing sausage, ca.1930. Two men stand on either side of a stack of crates to the left. The crates sit atop a wooden dolly on a brick floor with dirt and stains all over. The side of the crate is labeled with the Wilson & Company logo while a box that one of the men holds over the crates reads " Sausage Vienna Style". To the right of center, one woman uses both hands to work on the sausage links that hang from a pole in front of her while five woman to the right stand in a row packing sausages into boxes. The boxes that lay on the table in front of them read "Sausage Frankfurt Style". All of the woman wear long lightly colored coats over their clothing with bonnets on their heads. Sausages can be seen hanging in the background.
